PURPOSE: To further improve the oxygen barrier property of a cup container by stretching an oxygen barrier resin layer in a meandering line relative to a packaging material and the like comprising the oxygen barrier resin layer whose both sides are laminated with polyolefin.
CONSTITUTION: The inner and outer faces of this packaging material are made of a polyolefin a and an oxygen barrier resin layer b is interlaid between one olefin and another. In the packaging material, the inner face and outer face are respectively either a plane surface or a gently-sloping curved surface but the oxygen barrier resin layer b is stretched in a meandering line from the top to the bottom of a container in the shape of a cup, causing the polyolefin layer a at both sides to have a fluctuating thickness. The virtual thickness of the oxygen barrier resin layer is increased due to the meandering line thereof, with the result that this packaging material as a whole has a higher oxygen barrier property than other packaging materials by the increase of the thickness.
