To provide a pair of socks intended for solving such problems that a pair of conventional socks is made, considering only protection or recovery either of the longitudinal arch of foot or the transverse arch of foot, and a tightening part gets out of position during wearing socks.
This pair of socks S is obtained by setting a first tightening part 1 increased in tightening force in the wale direction, from a position (A) of the backside of the digital pad of the sole part of the socks S to a position C including a boundary between an arch part B and a heel part 6, setting a second tightening part 2 increased in tightening force in the course direction around the periphery of the position (A) of the backside of the digital pad, setting a third tightening part 3 increased in tightening force in the course direction around the periphery of an ankle part D, and setting a fourth tightening part 4 increased in tightening force in the course direction around the periphery from the position C including a boundary between the arch part B and the heel part 6 to a position E of the base of an instep part. As a result of this, it is possible to obtain effect of both protecting and recovering the shape of the longitudinal arch of foot and the transverse arch of foot by each of the tightening parts, and stabilize a position of each of the tightening parts during wearing the socks.
