PURPOSE: To make removable the paper pile holder so that each operator can arrange paper pile at hand, when a plurality of operators use the paper pile counter.

CONSTITUTION: The holder 18 is placed near the operators and the paper pile A to be counted is located in the holder 19 with side up, and the tips of the paper pile A are contacted with the contact member 23 of the side plate 19b and arranged. Next, when the turn lever 26 of the clip 24 is turned counterclockwise, the clip rod 27 is depressed and held at the side plate 19b of the holder 19 for the paper pile A with the spring 30. Further, the insertions 20, 21 of the guide member 22 of the unit 18 are inserted to be set to the supports 16, 17 implanted on the turn arm 10, and the turn arm 10 is turned to the rotary cylinder 1 with the moving member 13, and the clipped paper pile A is contacted to the suction head 6, enabling to count while suctioning and separating one by one.
