Abstract:

To provide a paper quality measuring device capable of measuring a change in reaction force with respect to a change in the pressing force of a feed paper sheet.

Paper quality measuring sensor 10 numbering n equipped with pressure rollers 11 for pressing a paper sheet being fed are arranged in a paper sheet feed passage, and the pressing forces of the pressure rollers 11 to the paper sheet are different for each paper quality measuring sensor 10. Therefore, the change in reaction force with respect to pressure change, that is, the rigidity- bending characteristics of the paper sheet, can be measured by measuring the reaction force acting on the pressure rollers 11 of a plurality of paper quality measuring sensors 10. Accordingly, the quality of the paper sheet can be decided.
