Abstract:
To facilitate maintenance by making the switch of a parking brake easily adjustable.
A potentiometer 2 is attached to the fulcrum (a) of the base of a parking brake pedal 1 penetrating the floor 7 of a driver's seat, and a spin turn releasing position and a parking brake actuating position are set within a range wherein the potentiometer 2 rotates about the fulcrum (a). When the parking brake pedal 1 is operated, the potentiometer 2 rotates, changing a resistance value and outputting a sensor value proportional to the amount of operation of the parking brake pedal 1. When the sensor value has reached the spin turn releasing position, spin turn is braked; when the parking brake actuating position is reached, a parking brake is actuated.
