To provide a shimmy reduction device which can have the effect of greatly reducing shimmy by being disposed in series with a transmission system.

This device has two main liquid chambers disposed as part of the component parts of a steering side tie rod 1, i.e., a first liquid chamber 6a facing the steering side tie rod 1 and a second liquid chamber 6b facing a suspension side tie rod 2, and two auxiliary liquid chambers not communicated with the main liquid chambers, i.e., a third liquid chamber 5b which is installed on the side opposite to an elastic body 3 constituting the main liquid chamber and to the first liquid chamber 6a and which is constructed of a bulkhead having an orifice 13 therein, and a second auxiliary liquid chamber communicated with the third liquid chamber 5b by the orifice 13 and having voids therein. The device absorbs the axial relative displacements of the steering side tie rod 1 and the suspension side tie rod 2.
