Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pattern sorting device which can properly sort the patterns even in such a state where the distribution of input signals moves in an input space and then a pattern sorting device is repetitively actuated and stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A pattern sorting device is provided with the reference circuits 1-1-1-6 which are divided in groups in accordance with the value of learning coefficients, the group-based selecting circuits 2 and 3 which are provided to each group of the reference circuits and compare the different degrees of similarity outputted from plural reference circuits belonging to the same group to select a reference circuit that has an internal parameter most similar to the input, and a 2nd selecting circuit 4 which compares the degrees of similarities outputted from all reference circuits and selects a reference circuit that has an internal parameter most similar to the input. In such 8 constitution, the patterns are properly sorted even in such a state where the distribution of input signals moves momenterily in an input space and then the pattern sorting device is repetitively actuated and stopped.
