Abstract:
To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine capable of more efficiently arranging permanent magnets and increasing an amount of interlinkage magnetic flux.SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type rotary electric machine in an embodiment includes: a stator; and a rotor that is rotatably provided through an air gap with respect to the stator and that is configured by disposing a permanent magnet inside a rotor core. When the number of magnetic poles of the rotor is denoted as P, permanent magnets constituting one magnetic pole are arranged over a region where a central angle at a center of rotation is (360/P) degrees or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
