This spindle motor comprises a rotor hub 20 supported in such a way as to be rotatable freely via a bearing, an inside rotor magnet 52 fixed on the mounting part at the inside circumferential side of the rotor hub 20, an outside rotor magnet 54 fixed on the mounting part at the outside circumferential side of the rotor hub 20, a bracket 18, an inside stator 48 fixed on the mounting part at the inside circumferential side of the bracket 18, and an outside stator 50 fixed on the mounting part at the outside circumferential side of the bracket 18. The inside and outside stators 48, 50 are fixed to the bracket 18 by offsetting each other by a factor of a given angle to the rotational direction of the rotor hub 20.
