Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a print of good quality from the original image of a film by which a print is already formed irrespective of the kind of an exposure extent deciding method introduced at the time of forming the print.
CONSTITUTION: Print information including the controlled variable of exposure for every color and an identification code is read (200), the photometry for the original image of a frame to be printed is executed by an LATD sensor (202) and a basic exposure extent is calculated (204). The coincidence of the exposure extent deciding method introduced at the time of forming the first print with the exposure extent deciding method in this printer is judged (206) (208), when they coincide, the exposure correction quantity is decided (210), when they do not coincide, a correction quantity by this printer is calculated and the exposure correction quantity is decided (212). The final exposure extent is obtained by adding the basic exposure extent and the obtained exposure correction quantity (214), and then, the exposure is executed in accordance with the final exposure extent Ei and the print is formed (216).
