Abstract:
PURPOSE: The title adhesive having improved water resistance and high bonding strength by light irradiation, consisting of a specific unsaturated polyester and a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylate, a (meth)acrylamide, and a photopolymerization initiator.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive consisting mainly of A) a liquid unsaturated polyester comprising preferably 10W40 mole % of a halogenated aromatic polycarboxylic acid e.g., tetrachlorophthalic acid, etc., or its anhydride as a part of an acid component, B) a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylate, e.g., 2-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate, etc., C) a (meth)acrylamide, and D) a photopolymerization initiator, e.g., benzoinethyl ether, etc.
USE: Adhesion between glass.
