PURPOSE: To improve plate wear even if UV ink is used by providing a photosensitive layer contg. a diazonium resin and a specific compd. as one kind of constituting units and contg. an org. high-polymer compd. having a specific acid value.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive layer which is formed by using the diazonium resin and the compd. expressed by formula as one kind of the constituting unit and contg. the org. high-polymer compd. having 10 to 200 acid value is provided. In the formula, R1 and R3 respectively denote a hydrogen atom or methyl group; R2 denotes 1 to 5C alkylene group; n is an integer form 1 to 10. The diazonium resin is used by condensing an arom. diazonium salt with active carbonyl (for example, formaldehyde). The condensed diazonium resin of the sulfonic acid (salt) compd., etc., of arom. diazonium and formaldehyde, etc., is used as well. The high-polymer compd. can be acted as an alkaline- soluble or swellable resin and the compd. having 20000 to 500000 weight average mol.wt. is more preferable.
