Title:
PHOTOSENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0194678
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensor which generates the hue and brightness of an optical image directly in the form of digital concentration signals by providing an optical filter whose transmittance planely changes at a certain ratio, an opto-electric converter having a plurality of opto-electric converters upon which such filter is stacked and circuits reading the signals generated by such opto-electric converters. CONSTITUTION:A photosensor comprises an optical filter 4 whose transmittance concentration planely changes at a certain ratio; and an opto-electric converter having a plurality of opto-electric converters 2 upon which such filter is stacked and which are juxtapositionally disposed in such a direction as said transmittance concentration changes and circuits 5-7 which read the signals generated by such opto-electric converters 2 by random addressing. For example, stripe- shaped original color filters 4 for red, green, and blue, are staked on top of a semiconductor chip 3 of a light receiving section 1, wherein a group of several matrix-arranged opto-electric converters 2 are formed, these primary color filters 4 so arranged that the filter section thereof for each hue relatively faces each group of horizontally arranged opto-electric converters.
