PURPOSE: To remarkably reduce invasion of a pulse noise to a picture signal and improve the picture quality by using a 1st cable for an analog signal system and a power supply system and using a 2nd cable for a pulse signal system.

CONSTITUTION: First and 2nd cables 14, 16 each of which is shielded are provided, a DC voltage as power supply is applied to a drive circuit 24 of a camera section 10 and an imaging device 22 via the cable 14 from a power supply circuit 36 of a main body section 12 and a clock generated from a clock generating circuit 30 is fed to a drive circuit 24 via the cable 16. The imaging device 22 outputs a picture signal in response to an optical image of the optical image of a pickup lens 20 according to a drive pulse from a device circuit 24 and gives it to a signal processing circuit 26 of the main body section 12 via the cable 14. Thus, the analog signal system and the power supply system and the pulse system are made independent electromagnetically and mutual interference is avoided. Thus, the invasion of a pulse noise to the picture signal is largely reduced and the picture quality is improved.
