To record a picture and a voice in a hard disk so as to be always synchronously reproducible.
A picture inputted from the outside part is transmitted through a decoder 7 and a picture recording and reproducing block 31, and temporarily stored in a buffer 32 before written in a hard disk 1. A voice inputted from the outside part is also transmitted through an amplifier 26, converter 27, and managing part 33, and temporarily stored in the buffer 32 before written in the hard disk 11. The pictures and voices stored in the buffer 32 are written along the continuously physical addresses of the hard disk as one pair for each screen according to the operation of an address controller 35. The pictures for one screen and the voices accompanied with the pictures are recorded without being fragmented. Thus, the synchronization of the picture and voice is obtained, and the picture and voice are reproduced so as to be made temporally coincident at the time of reproduction.
