Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove noise added in the specified frequency area of a reproduction output in VTR.
CONSTITUTION: A branching line is provided in the preceding stage of an FM demodulator 11 in VTR and is connected with a trap filter 18 so as to detect the presence or absence of the specified frequency area. The output stage of the demodulator FM 11 is connected with a voltage control low-pass filter 12. The voltage control low-pass filter 12 is controlled by the detecting signal of the specified frequency area and a cutoff frequency is lowered at the time of the reproduction of the specified frequency area so that high frequency noise is removed.
