PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect data in manual mode separately from automatic mode.SOLUTION: A PID controller comprises: a mode switching unit 12 which switches control operation mode of the PID controller according to a switching signal from the outside; a manipulated variable calculation unit 13 which calculates a manipulated variable MV on the basis of a setting value SP and a controlled variable PV by PID control operation when control operation mode is automatic mode; a manipulated variable determination unit 14 which determines the numeric value specified by an operator as the manipulated variable MV when control operation mode is manual mode; a manipulated variable output unit 15 which outputs the manipulated variable MV to the outside of the controller; and a data recording unit 16 which records time-series data of the controlled variable PV and time-series data of the manipulated variable MV only when control operation mode is manual mode.
