Abstract:

To provide a piezoelectric actuator driving device which responds to a wide range of driving voltages and surely drives a piezoelectric actuator with high efficiency.

An electronic apparatus comprises a power supply, a piezoelectric actuator A, and a drive control device 100 for controlling driving of the piezoelectric actuator. The drive control device 100 includes: a driving circuit 111 for supplying a driving signal SDR to a piezoelectric element of a vibrator 12; a phase difference detecting means 120 for detecting a phase difference which indicates the vibrating state of the vibrator 12; a comparison voltage setting circuit 133 for correcting the target phase difference, which is the target of the vibrating state; and a driving frequency setting means 140 for comparing the phase difference and the target phase difference. The piezoelectric actuator A can be driven with high efficiency independently of the driving voltage by varying the driving frequency of the driving signal SDR on the basis of the comparison result so that the phase difference draws closer to the target phase difference.
