PURPOSE: To produce the plate for deep drawing of a nonferrous metal improving a sliding property of a drawing tool by specifying a draft of a final cold rolling pass and respectively specifying a honeycomb density, a honeycomb diameter and a surface roughness.
CONSTITUTION: By using a roll, in which a surface is roughed by surface sand blast, a non-ferrous metal or an alloy are rolled so that a draft at a final cold rolling pass is larger than 6%, a plate or a strip for deep drawing is formed. Further, by setting a honeycomb density to a number of honeycombs per 1mm2 of 10-250 and an uniform construction having a honeycomb diameter of 20-200μm, a surface fine structure is set to a microscopic roughness of Ra=0.1-0.8μm. By this method, a sliding property of a drawing tool is improved, drawing force is decreased by 30% as comparing to a normal surface.
