Title:
POLAR ANISOTROPIC RARE-EARTH BONDED MAGNET, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND PERMANENT MAGNET TYPE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000195714
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To realize magnetic characteristics higher than a polar anisotropic ferrite magnet, and good temperature characteristics.
A bond magnet includes magnetic powder made of rare earth element (R), Fe, N and, if necessary, Co, and resin binder. In this case, barium ferrite magnet power and/or strontium ferrite magnetic powder may be included thereto. In a manufacturing step, the bond magnet is injected from a multiple pinpoint gate or a ring gate of a die having an orientation field of 2.5 kOe or above at its cavity face. Then, the polar anisotropic rare-earth bond magnet can be used effectively in a permanent magnet motor like a stepping motor.
