Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mirror-finish noble metals by using abrasive material having a specified Moh's hardness and using natural or artificial leather as abrasive cloth.
CONSTITUTION: Abrasive material having a new Moh's hardness of 5W20 and the average particle size of 0.005W0.5μm is used, and natural or artificial leather is used as abrasive cloth to polish noble metals such as gold, platinum, silver and the like. The noble metals can be mirror-finished by using abrasive material having the Moh's hardness and average particle size.
