Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a poly(arylene sulfide) compsn. with excellent electrical insulating properties.
CONSTITUTION: A poly(arylene sulfide) compsn. comprises a poly(arylene sulfide) resin, talc and a hindered phenol and the hindered phenol is N,N'-bis ]3-(3',5'-di- tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)]propanylhydrazine and exists in the compsn. by a sufficient amt. for increasing the compsn's comparative tracking index (CTI) rating.
