Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester elastomer having improved wet-heat durability as well as having properties such as weathering resistance, heat resistance, elongation, tensile recovery and mechanical strengths.
SOLUTION: This invention provides a polyester elastomer composed of a polyester (A) part and a polyester (B) part, wherein polyester (A) part comprises an acid component comprising 60-90mol%, based on the total acid component, aromatic dicarboxylic acid component based on isophthalic acid and/or phthalic acid, and 40-10mol%, based on the total acid component, 6-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component comprising a 6-12C aliphatic α,ω-diol, and polyester (B) part comprises an acid component based on an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component based on a 2-4C α,ω-diol and/or cyclohexanedimethanol and has a carboxyl terminal group concentration of 20 equivalents/ton or below and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-2.0.
