Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber for artificial hair having high flame-retardancy and good color development properties and to provide a fiber bundle for hair and a hair ornament product containing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester fiber for artificial hair which comprises one or more polyester resins 10 selected from the group consisting of a polyalkyleneterephthalate and a copolymer polyester comprising a polyalkyleneterephthalate as a main component and a brominated epoxy-based flame retardant 20, wherein in the cross section 100 parallel with the fiber axis direction D, the average diagonal width W of the brominated epoxy-based flame retardant dispersed in the polyester resin is 0.05 μm or less. In the polyester fiber for artificial hair, the melt viscosity at 280°C of the polyester resin is larger than that of the brominated epoxy-based flame retardant. The viscosity when the fiber is melted at 280°C is 2000 to 8000 poise at a shear rate of 50 mm/min.
