To provide a polyester resin composition excellent in the capability for direct metal vapor deposition and in imparting good surface appearance.

The polyester resin composition consists of (A) 30-80 wt% of a polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 10-30 wt% of any one of resins of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (B-1), a polyethylene terephthalate reisn (B-2) and a polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate type polyester resin (B-3) or a mixture of these resins, and (C) 10-60 wt% of barium sulfate having a mean particle diameter of 0.2-1.5 μm and a PH of 7.0-7.5 measured according to JIS K5101 26 boiling test. A light reflecting member is also provided which comprises the above polyester resin composition and on which surface a direct metal vapor deposition film is formed.
