Abstract:
To provide a means to improve the melt strength of a certain kind thermoplastic resin without encountering the problem accompanied by the formation of a gelled polymer chain.
This polymer composition comprises (a) a polymerizable unit derived from at least one 8-30C alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer and (b) ≤0.10 wt.%, based on the total weight of the 8-30C alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, at least one chain branch unit, the chain branch unit forming a polymer composition having a nongelled polymer chain which has a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 g/mol.
