Abstract:
To offer a catalyst for the manufacture of an ethylene polymer which is free from induction period and melt fracture and has a wide molecular weight distribution, a superior dispersibility and a large melt tension.
This is a blend of (A) an organic chrome compound consisting of at least one of such compounds as a chromocarboxylate, chrome-1,3-diketo compound, chromic acid ester and chromoamide compound, (B) a carrier, (C) an aluminoxane, (D) a transition metal compound with a group having conjugated π electrons as a ligand and, further if desired, an organometallic compound (A) is used without being baked.
