Abstract:
To prepare a polymer dispersion containing a vinyl ester and stabilized with a protective colloid.
This dispersion is prepared by polymerizing at least one vinyl ester of a 2-12C linear or branched monocarboxylic acid and optionally other monomers copolymerizable therewith at 40-90°C in the presence of a cationic azo initiator, contains a homo- or co-polymer of the vinyl ester, and is stabilized with a protective colloid.
