Abstract:
To provide a polystyrenic resin composition having a content of lower molecular weight components less than that of lower molecular weight component in the raw material polystyrenic resin.
The polystyrenic resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polystyrenic resin and 0.1-8 pts.wt. citric acid. The composition can capture the lower molecular weight components originally included in the polystyrenic resin while inhibiting the generation of lower molecular weight components by preventing heat decomposition of the polystyrenic resin, thereby giving the polystyrenic resin kneaded product reduced in the amount of the lower molecular weight components to be less than that included in the raw material polystyrenic resin.
