PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a port closing device and a port closer, capable of corresponding to various kinds of workpieces, and excellent in versatility.SOLUTION: A port closing device 40 includes a suction port closer 44 configured to close a suction port 24 of an internal combustion engine 10 as a workpiece, and a discharge port closer 46 configured to close a discharge port 26. The suction port closer 44 is restrained to a first guide rail 60 or released from its restraint. Similarly, the discharge port closer 46 is restrained to a second guide rail 62 or released from its restraint. Specifically, the suction port closer 44 and the discharge port closer 46 each are displaced to a given position on the first guide rail 60 or the second guide rail 62, and positioning and fixation can be performed at the given position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
