To provide a portable DGPS receiving device by providing a device body having a liquid crystal display installed on one inside surface of a notebook type foldable case and various operation keys installed on the other inside surface, and capable of installing a map memory IC card in such a manner as to be insertable and drawable, a GPS antenna, a receiver, and an arithmetic processing device.
This device has a notebook type foldable case formed into a size of about a pocketbook in the folded state as a base. A large-sized liquid crystal display 11 having a screen occupying the whole area is installed on the inside surface of a lid body 10A, and various operation keys 12 as device operating commander are integrally installed on the inside surface of a main body 10B. A multilayer printed board having a GPS antenna 14, a GPS receiver, and an arithmetic processing device mounted in high density is housed in the inside of the main body 10B. Further, to the main body 10B, a map memory IC card 13 such as a required map card or arrangement map card is installed in such a manner as to be insertable and drawable. Thus, a portable DGPS receiving device 10 has an extremly compact, small-sized and ligthweight form.
