Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device capable of achieving further power saving and higher detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A portable information device 10 comprises: an atmospheric pressure sensor 106; an analog-digital conversion section 115 having a variable resolution, for converting a first analog signal from the atmospheric pressure sensor 106 into a first digital signal and outputting the first digital signal; a temperature sensor 107; an analog-digital conversion section 116 having a variable resolution, for converting a second analog signal from the temperature sensor 107 into a second digital signal and outputting the second digital signal; a storage section 114 for storing setting information related to the resolutions of the analog-digital conversion sections 115 and 116; and a control section 110 for controlling operation of setting the resolutions of the analog-digital conversion sections 115 and 116 by using the setting information stored in the storage section 114.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
