Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device to be easily used in different use situations, that is, either a portable state or a non-portable state.
SOLUTION: The portable information device is provided with a display device 3 having a display part 2, an input device 5 having an input part 4, and a hinge mechanism 9 for inversely switching to a first configuration that the input operation of a surface input part 4a is made available by vertically setting the display device 3, and a second configuration that the input operation of a back input part 4b is made available by horizontally setting the display device 3.
