PURPOSE: To prevent a switch from being turned on/off even when a power source switch and a depression switch such as a living body synchronous tone on/off switch, an alarm tone on/off switch, etc., are deprssed inadvertently and to take a countermeasure for power saving and malfunction prevention.
CONSTITUTION: This instrument is provided with a timer 9 to measure a time for which the switch is depressed. At least the operations of the power source switch 3, a respiration synchronous tone on/off switch 4 and the alarm tone on/off switch 5 arranged on an operating panel part are transferred from an off-state to an on-state and vice versa only when it is judged that they are depressed for a prescribed time based on the measuring operation of the timer 9.
