Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, a map information providing server and a map information providing system capable of collecting present position information acquired by a user, and route information to the destination, and reflecting the collected information on the improvement of service to further improve operability.
SOLUTION: The portable terminal is provided with a position information acquiring means for acquiring present position information from a position information providing server by setting destination information to the portable terminal. The map information providing server is provided with a destination information providing means for providing the portable terminal with the destination information; a map information providing means for providing a route map from a place indicated by the present position information to a place indicated by the destination information, on the basis of the present position information received from the portable terminal and the set destination information; and a storage means stored with the present position information received from the portable terminal and the selected destination information.
