Abstract:
To provide a positioning device and a positioning method precisely positioning a component attached to an end portion of a long tube without manual operation of a person.
In the positioning device for positioning a stopper member 65 attached to an end portion of the long member such as the long tube, a vertical moving means is provided with a positioning chuck mechanism 30 including a fixed hook 33 and a moving hook 34 across the stopper member 65 so as to vertically move. The fixed hook 33 is provided with a sliding portion 33b sliding with the stopper member 65. The moving hook 34 is provided with an abutting portion 34a abutting on the stopper member 65, and structured to approach/separate from the fixed hook 33.
