To provide a powder classification apparatus capable of classification to three particle regions by one operation.
The powder classification apparatus 1 includes: cylindrical casings 11a and 11b; a powder feeder 12 that supplies the mixed powder with an air flow; a guide vane 13 that generates a swirl flow; an additional air flow supply unit 20 that supplies the additional air flow from a tangential direction of the casing 11a to strengthen the swirl flow; a classification air flow supply unit 30 that supplies the classification air flow, rectified by passing through a porous member 32, into the casing 11a; a coarse particle recovery part 40 that has a slit 42 opening to a portion of the inner wall of the casing 11a, and recovers coarse particles after passing through the slit 42; a fine particle recovery channel 52 that opens upward; an umbrella body 51 that is disposed above the fine particle recovery channel; and an intermediate particulate collection part 60 that recovers intermediate particles after passing between the fine particle recovery channel 52 and the casing 11b.
