To provide a powder deaerator, in which an excellent deairing property is assured, the production cost is low, and the maintainability is good.
In the deaerator, a metal mesh sheet 6 is wound on an outer periphery of a porous cylinder 3b in which a porous plate is curved and the abutted end faces are welded, the wound outer periphery of the mesh sheet 6 is covered with a semicircle-shaped porous circular arc member 7 divided into two in a circumferential direction, a starting end and a termination of the winding of the mesh sheet 6 are aligned at the circumferential direction position near a welded portion 15 of the porous cylinder 3b, and the position of one divided mating face of the porous circular arc member 7 is substantially equal to the circumferential direction position of the welded portion 15, by which the starting end portion and the termination portion of the winding of the mesh sheet 6 where the powder leaks easily are fastened and fixed to the region of the divided mating faces of the porous circular arc member 7 at the welded portion 15 of the porous cylinder 3b, which is formed with some protrusion, to assure the excellent deaerating property. Besides, the production cost is low and the maintainability is good.
