Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove variation in the control power of a power amplifier which is generated due to the load and mismatching of the power amplifier.
CONSTITUTION: In a signal line 12 for transmitting the output of the power amplifier 11, a control circuit 19 is driven based upon the average value of detection outputs obtained from two coupling capacitors 13, 20 arranged at optional positions mutually separated only by 1/4 wavelength to control the power amplifier 11. Since the two capacitors 13, 20 are mutually separated by 1/4 wavelength even when they are arranged at any position on the signal line 12, the control circuit 19 is not easily influenced by a standing wave on the line 12.
