To provide a power control unit capable of preventing a foreign matter from entering an electric power transforming chamber for storing an electric power transforming module such as an inverter at the time of assembling and preventing a bolt from dropping into the electric power transforming chamber from a three-phase chamber for storing a three-phase terminal.
The power control unit (30) has the electric power transforming chamber (76) and the three-phase terminal chamber (78). The electric power transforming chamber (76) has a third opening (76a), and the three-phase terminal chamber (78) has a fourth opening (78a). Each three-phase terminal (64a, 64b, 64c) is connected to the electric power transforming module (60) of the electric power transforming chamber (76) at one end and passes through a communication hole (162) for making the electric power transforming chamber (76) communicate with the three-phase terminal chamber (78). In addition, the other end is placed in the three-phase terminal chamber (78). A bracket (160) is fixed to an inner wall of the three-phase terminal chamber (78) in such a state that each three-phase terminal (64a, 64b, 64c) is inserted into each inserting hole (168a, 168b, 168c).
