Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully control the supply of power to a fixed apparatus such as a copying machine, etc.
SOLUTION: This power controller turns on and off a commercial power source 12 which supplies power to a heater 3 of a fixed apparatus 2 by a TRI AC Q2. This turns on and off the TRIAC Q2 asynchronously in the vicinity of the zero cross of the commercial power source 1 by means of a trigger means 3. When a frequency is changed, this changes the minimum time of trigger output, compensates the phase of an output signal, and sets the bias frequency property based on the differential quantity of the output of a thermistor TH, performs the setting of the limit value of the number of on-off switching times of an output pattern, and so on thereby performing the reduction of flicker, the highly accurate half wave control, the prevention of a bad image by ripple reduction, the prevention of hunting caused by the sudden change of input voltage, or the like.
