Abstract:
To realize reduction in size and total weight by eliminating a heat sink through reduction of heat generated in a transistor.
In a power supply for supplying a stabilized power source voltage to the secondary winding side of a transformer T1 by on-off controlling the voltage applied to the primary winding of the transformer T1, a GaN-FET 11 generating a small amount of heat is connected to the primary winding of the transformer T1 and the GaN-FET 11 is on/off controlled by a gate signal, to supply the power source voltage to the secondary winding of the transformer T1.
