Abstract:
To specify a vascular endothelial cell fault causing substance of onsetting both insulin resistance and arteriosclerosis together, and to investigate a relationship between the substance and a metabolic syndrome or the arteriosclerosis.
A complex of a constitutive apoprotein of a high specific gravity of lipoprotein (HDL) and a low specific gravity of lipoprotein (LDL) in a sample is used as a measuring object, using blood collected from the human being. A person high in the risk of the metabolic syndrome is screened by measuring a concentration of the complex in the blood.
