Abstract:
To provide a rapid preparation method for an alkali metal alkoxide solution in alcohol that is economical and reliable from the technical point of view.
An alkali metal and an alcohol in the fluid or molten form are fed into a microreactor and they are continuously mixed and allowed to react with each other. In an embodiment, an alkali metal alkoxide solution in alcohol of a low concentration may be employed instead of pure alcohol for the reaction.
