CONSTITUTION: An emulsion or plastic material made of starch, such as nonglutinous rice or rice flour, is put in a flexible plastic bag or tube, or wrapped with a plastic sheet, pressed to a thick plate, and gelled by heating. The gelled food is cut together with the plastic sheet, etc., to a desired shape, and again packed with a plastic bag or sheet. The packed food may be sterilized, if necessary.
