Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process for preparing a rubber compsn. excellent in impact resilience, tensile properties, wear properties and extrudability.
CONSTITUTION: A conjugated diene monomer such as butadiene, an arom. vinyl monomer such as styrene, and a tert. amino group-contg. vinyl monomer such as vinylpyridine are subjected to emulsion polymn. to obtain a polymer in the form of a diene polymer rubber having a tert. amino group-contg. monomer unit content of 0.05wt.% to lower than 1wt.%. A rubber component contg. that diene polymer rubber, silica and a silane coupling agent are kneaded together at 150 to 200°C to prepare a rubber compsn.
