To provide a preparation process of a silicone polymer using an organosiloxane polymerization catalyst which efficiently catalyzes reaction, even in the presence of a filler.
A preparation process of a silicon polymer containing less than 1 wt.%, preferably less than 0.1 wt.% volatile substance comprises continuous steps wherein (i) a linear, silanol group-containing siloxane is polymerized via polycondensation, a cyclosiloxane is polymerized via ring-opening polymerization or a mixture of the linear siloxane and cyclosiloxane is polymerized in the presence of water in the presence or absence of a filler with a phosphazene base catalyst; (ii) the catalyst is neutralized; and (iii) an unstripped silicon polymer is stripped, preferably at 200°C or higher.
