Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pressplate replacing device capable of automatically replacing a pressplate without using a tool in a short time in a rotary press.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of U-shaped leaf springs 23 are press fitted to a groove of a plate winding rod 15 to hold a pressplate 80. The plate winding rod 15 is rotated by a rotating device. A plate pressing roller 48 is provided for pressing a new plate 80 on the peripheral surface of a plate cylinder 7 when the new plate 80 is to be wound. A controller for actuating each device at a predetermined timing is provided.
