Abstract:
PURPOSE: To utilize effectively the furniture space of a kitchen without taking much space by simplifying the handling of a pressure cooker which is equipped with a connecting/disconnecting device on the lid operational by the rotation of a handle. CONSTITUTION: The device has a large 'careenage' (kyarenajyu in Japanese) 12 supported by a handle 13 of the pressure cooker. In the middle part of the 'careenage' 12, a recess 16 is installed where a handle 17 or the same kind of an operation device is installed, which is connected to the lid by way of rotation-reduction function. The handle 17 is supported by 'careenage' 12 rotationally by means of the hub 18 having the same axis as the rotational navel 11a of the lid 11. Further, the lid 11 is supported by 'careenage' 12 rotating freely around the navel 11a and equipped with two wings 19 and a lever 20 is pulled toward the lid direction to prevent the lid from dropping by means of a spring 22 or the like. By pushing the lever toward the outside, the lid can be removed from the 'careenage' 12.
