Title:
PRESSURE GOVERNING MECHANISM OF FUEL INJECTION PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3877863
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure governing mechanism to adjust the pressure in a pump without bringing about a large size of pump.
SOLUTION: A check valve 21 is accommodated slidably in a first valve chest 24 formed at the fuel inlet 20 of a pump body, while a pressure governing valve 23 is accommodated slidably in a second valve chest 40 formed at the fuel outlet 22 of the pump body, and lids 34 and 60 for preventing oil leak from the valve chests 24 and 40 are installed in such a way as accommodated in the valve chests 24 and 40. This allows the check valve 21 and pressure governing valve 23 to be installed completely inside the pump body, with no member bulge out of the pump body.
